Welcome to Workforce Career Readiness™ Teen Writing Series.  This series offers teens the opportunity to publish their creative work and opinions on issues that affect their lives (relationships, family, school, current events, exercise, healthy eating and living, mental wellness, and self-esteem).  Workforce Career Readiness™ is devoted to helping teens share their voices.

Hi everyone! My name is Zoeya Khan, and I am the creator of ZK FIT. My goal is to educate and encourage young girls and women to improve their health and fitness, in order to live a healthier lifestyle.

From a recent study from PubMed, it is shown that physical fitness mediates the relationship between activity and self-esteem in most 15-year olds. Coming from a 15-year-old freshman, after a long and hard work out, I do feel more energized and even more confident in my own skin.

My short and simple workouts/tips can help you achieve goals like becoming fitter, stronger, and overall more confident in your own skin. I am not a personal trainer, but I find the workouts and tips that I post beneficial for losing weight and gaining muscle tone.

I am so excited to begin our fitness journey together. Let’s get started!
